Who are we
Global Ship Classification (G.S.C) is a ship classification society. The Society’s technical team conducts surveys to ensure compliance with rules for new and existing ships. This ensures vessel safety and prevents marine pollution.
We set and maintain technical standards for marine vessels and offshore structures. Our role is to classify ships and confirm their design follows published standards.
We operate a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001, ISO 17020, ISO 14065, and ISO 45001. This system covers ship classification, statutory certification, and environmental scheme verification.
